Kauai: Spouting Horn Blow Hole

After a morning of Maggie working, Katie and Maggie stopped at Subway and picked up some tasty sandwiches to take to the park along the viewing site for the Spouting Horn Blowhole on the southern coast. We enjoyed standing at the edge and feeling the spray of ocean as we watched the tide get funneled through the blowhole to create a spectacular burst of seawater. We ate our sandwiches at a picnic table and watched the many wild chickens running about. Maggie took some of these pics of the baby chicks in the parking lot. How cute!
