Happy Hannukah!

This Saturday evening we were joined by our friends Stephanie, Marley, Mike, Eric, and baby Hunter for a Hanukkah dinner. We made our annual latkes and kugel, and this year Maggie (inspired by her successful turkey) made a lemon rosemary garlic chicken. Our Hannukiah is in storage, so we started of with one made out of vegetables by Maggie. Our landlord Stephanie brought down her "pagan, goat-dog menorah" which Mike renamed the "Mele Kaliki-monster". Little Hunter was the hit of the party, staying fully awake and soaking up his first Hannukah experience until late in the night. We were highly entertained by the Bond Brothers and hope they come back to hang out with us soon!

yo Mags, impressive poultry preparation. Like the apron in particular! I also did turkey myself for the first time this year. Phew.
